Dear Reader,

September 1st Maggie and I celebrated the completion of 25 years of ministry service.  Reflecting back, there have been some up’s and down’s, some bumpy roads, and many twist and turns, but all in all they have been 25 wonderful years.  I look back and remember many of God’s blessings and give praise to our Lord that He called us and has used us to win the lost, establish churches, and train others for the furtherance of the Gospel.  God has a job for us to do and we look forward with great joy to laboring for the Master until He comes.

In July I had my six months checkup and the blood coming from my kidney is less than it was when they found the problem.  I believe that the Lord is answering pray and using the medicine from Brazil to bring healing.  Please continue to pray for me.

I received a letter from Brother Makhusa yesterday.  He reports that two of the four pastors studying with him in Nsanje have completed their Graduate of Theology studies.  The Pastors completing their course work are Bandarson Butaoh of Buleya Landmark Baptist Church in Nsanje and Leonard Mozalande of Nyakabande Landmark Baptist Church.  Brother Makhusa is planning an ordination service in November.  The Lord willing we will be able to participate in the ceremony and present their diplomas during our Malawi trip in November.  Brother Makhusa also reports that 5 new works have been established.  They are in Molsen, Sorgin, Thukuta, Mpapaya, and Sandama.

In addition to the Malawi trip I urgently need to visit the Seminary Extensions in Brazil and Peru as soon as possible.  Please pray for God’s financial provision that we can make these trips and complete the things that we need to accomplish.

For His Glory,

Dr. Jimmy Nelson
